What makes a positive experience?
I definitely believe that a healthy baby at the end shouldn’t be the only goal. While it is a great goal, it simply isn't good enough.
Both parents and baby deserve a positive birthing experience. In fact, the whole family should have a positive and smooth transition into a new life together, siblings included!
And only you as the parents can define what a positive birth would be for you. Epidural or unmedicated, surgical (cesarean) or physiological (vaginal), home, hospital or birth center, - they can all be positive experiences with the right preparation!
If you haven't taken a childbirth class before, and even if you have, I highly recommend taking an in-depth childbirth class. I offer a mindfulness-based comprehensive childbirth class suitable for all parents-to-be.
